Kimberly Fritel, LPCC

My passion for mental health began in my late teens when someone close to me was diagnosed with schizophrenia. That experience, along with the deep loss of a loved one to suicide, shaped the path I’m on today. These moments opened my heart to the struggles others face and inspired me to dedicate my life to supporting those navigating mental health challenges.

Throughout the years, I’ve been fortunate to work in a variety of roles within the mental health field—from providing crisis support in the community and offering traditional outpatient therapy, to directing a local counseling program and mentoring new professionals as they pursue licensure. Each role has deepened my understanding of what people need in different seasons of life.

I believe healing looks different for everyone. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to walk beside you, I’m here to support you in discovering what a healthier, more fulfilling life means for you. We’ll work together at your pace, addressing the challenges that are impacting your daily life, with compassion and care.

I’m passionate about helping people build insight, confidence, and resilience in the face of life’s toughest moments. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I offer individual counseling for children (ages 5+), teens, and adults, and provide PCIT for children as young as 2.5 years old. It’s been a privilege to work with first responders and other clinicians who serve our communities with strength and dedication.

I’m also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor, and accepting new clients or supervisees. I look forward to the chance to support you on your journey toward healing, balance, and greater well-being.
