Kimberly Fritel, LPCC

 My interest in mental health began in my late teens when a dear friend was diagnosed with schizophrenia. This experience, coupled with the profound impact of losing a loved one to suicide, inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others struggling with mental health challenges.

Over the years, I have gained diverse work experience in the mental health field. I have enjoyed providing community crisis intervention, offering traditional outpatient therapy services, serving as a director at a local counseling program, and guiding professionals towards full licensure in the field.

I am committed to helping you learn how to live a happier and healthier life, whatever that means for you. Together, we will work to address how your challenges impact your daily life, and I will meet you where you are in the process to help you reach your goals.

I am passionate about helping you live life to the fullest. I strive to help others gain insight into their feelings and learn ways to confidently cope with the difficult things life throws at us. Some of the modalities I utilize include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I provide individual counseling for ages 5 and up and PCIT for children as young as 2.5 years old. Since 2017, I have had the privilege of providing services to emergency responders (officers, paramedics, and firefighters).

Additionally, I am an LPCC supervisor and am currently accepting new supervisees. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey towards well-being and fulfillment.
