While we do not participate with all healthcare providers, many insurance companies offer "out-of-network" mental health benefits. Most plans with these benefits will reimburse you for 60-90% of our fee once you submit a claim. However, we cannot guarantee the exact reimbursement level from your insurance company.
Before your first session, please call the number on the back of your insurance card to confirm if seeing an outpatient therapist at our office qualifies for reimbursement. We can provide receipts (Superbills) to help with the reimbursement process.
** Some plans may require prior authorization. It is beneficial to call your insurance company and provide us with your insurance card to verify we are in network with your specific plan.
1) Self-pay: contracted rate billed to you directly, if you do not have health insurance or we are out of network with your health plan, or
2) Health Insurance: contracted rates are billed to your health insurance plan and you are responsible for any deductibles, co-payments, and/or co-insurance specific to your health insurance policy
Fees are subject to change at any time. Health insurance plans may have a contracted rate that is different than the billed fee.

Full payment for service is expected at the completion of each session. We accept cash, check, credit and debit card. A 4% processing fee will be added to any credit or debit card transaction.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged $75 for the missed session.

A deductible is the amount of money an insured person pays out of pocket before their insurance policy begins covering covered expenses.
A copay, or copayment, is a fixed amount of money that a healthcare beneficiary pays out of pocket for covered medical services. The remaining balance is usually covered by the beneficiary's insurance company.
Coinsurance is a percentage of a covered health care service cost that an insured person pays after meeting their plan's deductible. It's a way for the insured and their insurance company to share the cost of eligible expenses, which together total 100%. For example, if a plan's allowed amount for a treatment is $100 and the coinsurance is 20%, the insured would pay $20 and the plan would pay the remaining $80.
This is the amount the insurance sets and agrees to pay per session, which is typically a lower amount than the "rate" set by the practice. If a client has not met their deductible/copay/coinsurance, then the client will be responsible for the remaining "contracted rate".

Holistic Healing Counseling kindly asks for your insurance details in advance to verify if your policy covers the service you are seeking. Some policies may need a referral from your primary care provider to be billed at the in-network rate. It's your responsibility to ensure this referral is made before your initial appointment.
